NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Atlanta, Georgia-based EMS and medical transportation services provider AmeriPro Health is growing its presence in southern Indiana. The company has acquired three locations from Colorado-based American Medical Response (AMR), including one in New Albany.

The deal, financial terms for which are not being disclosed, also includes locations in Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.

“We’re thrilled to bring AmeriPro’s innovative last-mile services to Lexington, Louisville and New Albany,” AmeriPro CEO Suhas Uppalapati said in written remarks. “We aim to provide members of these communities – and blue-chip institutional partners such as UK HealthCare and UofL Health, along with other local hospitals, health plans and employers – with unmatched patient health services.”
