ATLANTA (April 21, 2026)AmeriPro Health (AmeriPro), an industry leader in emergency services, patient logistics, and technology-driven healthcare services, announced today it has been selected through a competitive bid process to become the City of Lincoln Park’s 911 emergency medical services provider.

Under the three-year agreement unanimously approved by the Lincoln Park City Council, AmeriPro will provide two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances staffed around the clock, along with an additional peak-demand unit strategically assigned during the city’s busiest response periods. The contract, which begins June 1, expands AmeriPro’s presence in the Downriver region of Wayne County and builds on the company’s growing Southeast Michigan footprint.

Lincoln Park is home to approximately 40,000 residents and generates more than 5,000 EMS transports annually. AmeriPro’s model is designed to strengthen response reliability, increase available resources during peak periods, and support consistent emergency coverage for residents and visitors.

“This agreement reflects the confidence communities are placing in AmeriPro as we continue expanding across Metro Detroit,” said Larry Richardson, CEO of AmeriPro Health. “Our focus is on being a dependable partner by investing in our people, maintaining strong clinical standards, and bringing the operational discipline needed to support high-quality emergency medical services. We’re proud to bring a smarter, more efficient model to Lincoln Park by using data and operational insight to ensure patients get the right care at the right time."

As part of the transition, AmeriPro is investing in new modular ambulances that give EMS crews and fire department personnel more room to work during medical emergencies. The larger configuration allows multiple caregivers to treat patients during critical incidents, enhancing patient care during transport.

“From day one, our goal is simple: provide reliable service the community can count on,” said Jason Hosmer, Director of Partner Integration for AmeriPro Health in Michigan. “We’re assigning dedicated crews to Lincoln Park so residents will see familiar faces and know who is responding when they call for help. By adding resources during peak demand times and working closely with the fire department, we’ll  reduce wait times and keep ambulances available when they’re needed most.”

AmeriPro will also introduce new clinical equipment, including LUCAS mechanical CPR devices, and implement real-time operational monitoring tools that help supervisors quickly return crews to service when hospital turnaround times increase. The contract will create approximately 20 new jobs for paramedics and EMTs, supporting AmeriPro’s ongoing hiring and workforce growth across Detroit.

“Our priority is making sure Lincoln Park residents receive timely, dependable emergency medical care,” said Mike Prinz, Fire Chief for the Lincoln Park Fire Department. “AmeriPro will strengthen our emergency response system and bring additional dedicated resources to support our first responders. We look forward to working with them for many years to come.”

This latest agreement represents AmeriPro’s continued expansion across Downriver communities, where the company already provides EMS services in the neighboring cities of Southgate and River Rouge. It also reflects growing recognition of AmeriPro among municipalities seeking an experienced EMS partner focused on reliability, accountability, and consistent service delivery.

Established in 2018 in Atlanta, AmeriPro has grown to more than 1,500 employees across ten states. Its leadership team brings more than a century of experience in emergency communications, systems design, and medical transport operations.
