ATLANTA (March 2, 2026) – AmeriPro Health (AmeriPro), an industry leader in emergency services, patient logistics, and technology-driven healthcare service, announced today it has been selected to provide primary 911 emergency medical services for Columbia County, Florida. The agreement expands AmeriPro’s existing presence in the county, where the company already supports local healthcare facilities with interfacility services, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and speciality transports coordinated directly with hospital care management and transfer center staff.
The transition of services is now underway, with full operational deployment expected within 90 days. Once fully implemented, AmeriPro will operate six ALS ambulances during daytime hours and five ALS units overnight, supported by a 24-hour paramedic supervisor response vehicle to enhance system oversight and clinical support.
The countywide service area includes approximately 75,000 residents and generates an estimated 15,000 emergency calls annually. AmeriPro’s deployment will be staffed by a team of approximately 40 to 45 EMS professionals, including paramedics, EMTs, and field supervisors.
