Larry began his professional journey with eight years of honorable service as an active-duty U.S. Marine, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and mission-first mindset that continue to guide him today. After his military service, he transitioned into emergency medical services, becoming a licensed critical care and nationally registered paramedic—laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to public safety and operational excellence.

Over the past two decades, Larry has built an impressive career across both public and private sectors, holding key administrative and executive leadership roles spanning operations, government affairs, business development, strategic planning, and revenue management. His diverse background—from the front lines of patient care to the executive boardroom—provides a rare, 360-degree view of the EMS industry.

Today, Larry serves as the CEO of AmeriPro Health, a position earned through a proven track record of transformative leadership, growth-driven strategies, and a relentless commitment to service. His leadership is not just about managing operations—it’s about redefining what EMS can be.

Drawing on his extensive field experience, Larry leads AmeriPro with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by first responders and the healthcare system at large. That insight drives his vision: to position AmeriPro as a national leader and change agent in the EMS industry. Under his leadership, AmeriPro is committed to modernizing pre-hospital care, improving patient outcomes, investing in provider well-being, and building sustainable, scalable systems that communities can count on.

Larry’s ability to lead change stems from firsthand experience—he’s been the medic on the call, the operations lead in the crisis, and now, the executive shaping the future. His mission is clear: to raise the standard of care, advocate for the EMS profession, and deliver a bold, innovative model that redefines the role of EMS in the broader healthcare ecosystem.

He holds an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in finance from the University of Miami, and a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences from Clayton State University. Married for 17 years, Larry and his wife—a 21-year public safety veteran —have two children who compete in baseball and softball. Larry enjoys family time, playing ball, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Miami Hurricanes. And when he’s not leading the charge at AmeriPro, you might just find him slipping away with his family for a weekend of duck hunting—a favorite way to recharge and reconnect with the outdoors.

Harry brings more than 20 years of financial management and strategic planning healthcare experience. His expertise is founded a history of creating national, scalable enterprise platforms, managing multiple accounting system integrations for multi-site healthcare companies, and being operationally minded. He has integrated numerous acquisitions, converted companies from cash to accrual accounting and implemented numerous process improvement projects. Harry has provided executive leadership as the CEO, CFO, and advisor in numerous multi-site healthcare verticals including EMS, Allergy & Asthma, Fertility, Hospice, Contract Rehab, Urgent Care, Urology, Dermatology, and Infectious Disease to name a few.

Harry is a passionate, results-oriented leader who moves quickly to define, motivate, and achieve team objectives. Harry is a driven, humble servant leader, emphasizing the personal and professional development of the team around him. As a hands-on manager who is detail oriented, his strong intuitive understanding of team cohesion, dynamics, and collaborative style helps him connect quickly with others. With a background in law and accounting, Harry holds a JD and CPA, which equip him with a unique perspective on financial operations and compliance. At AmeriPro Health, Harry is committed to enhancing financial performance and supporting the Company’s mission to provide exceptional medical transportation services and growing the paramedics and EMTs he serves.

Harry earned his JD from the Bowen School of Law, Univ of Arkansas and was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1996. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from Hendrix College in 1991. Harry became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991.

Harry is married to his lovely wife, Kelly. Together they have four children and live in Franklin, TN. Harry is a devoted family man who enjoys adventurous travel, hiking, snow skiing, and playing golf.

Thomas McEntee - Chief Business Officer

Thomas began serving AmeriPro Health as their Principal Advisor in August of 2023 and currently serves as Cheif Administrative Officer. He lends decades of progressive EMS experience to one of the industry’s most rapidly expanding companies focusing on strategic deployment, business systems, planning, analytics, team development and acquisitions.

Before joining AmeriPro, he served as CEO and President of Transformative Healthcare in Boston which operated three ambulance companies in Boston, New Hampshire and Maine. Prior to joining Transformative, Thomas was with Global Medical Response as the National VP of Mergers and Acquisitions, closing and integrating strategic M&A deals, as well as developing a robust deal pipeline. Prior to, he served as the Regional President of the Eastern United States, leading a workforce of 8,500 across seventeen states and the District of Columbia.

He began with GMR as the Regional Director for Riverside County, CA – one of the largest high-performance EMS systems in the United States. While there, he improved clinical, operational, and financial performance.

Thomas holds undergraduate degrees in Organizational Management and Communications.

He and his wife, Sarah, the Executive Director for the Commission for Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS), make their home in Amherst, NH.

Dr. Matthew Thompson

Medical Director, Florida

Dr. Matthew, MD, FACEP, is an emergency physician, telemedicine pioneer and innovator driven by a passion for overcoming care barriers both personally and professionally. His profound interest in technology inspired him to complete an ultrasound fellowship post his tenure as chief resident at the University of Arizona. He continues his emergency medicine practice in Florida, which continually fuels his motivation to develop innovative solutions.

As the co-founder, chief medical officer and chief operating officer of Telescope Health, Matthew aims to enhance care access, patient outcomes and quality of life through technology, innovation and human connection. He’s deeply invested in innovative problem-solving, transitions of care, health equity, and telehealth solutions tailored to patients’ unique social health determinants.

He has been recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as a Tech Leader of the Year and 40 under 40 business leader and for Telescope Health’s community impact during the pandemic.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. He’s a musician who plays guitar, ukulele and piano. He also enjoys reading, surfing and making espresso.

Dr. Herschel Kessler

Medical Director, Georgia

Dr. Herschel embarked on his career as a volunteer EMT at 17, quickly advancing to a paramedic role and earning a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine.

Furthering his education, he spent four years at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center. He then ventured into emergency medicine in Georgia, taking up leadership roles across several hospitals. Since 2015, he has been an EMS medical director.

In his free time, Dr. Herschel enjoys spending time with his wife and six children.

Todd Turpin - Vice President – Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

Todd grew up working on cars, so it was only natural he began his career in the automotive industry. He served as departmental manager handling millions of dollars in inventory. After 23 years in the automotive industry, Todd became an EMT and started his second career in emergency medical services.

Todd furthered his education as an advanced paramedic and leveraged his leadership skills in the EMS industry, progressing from field training officer to operations supervisor.

Todd has been married to his wife, Sandy, for six years. They have five children and four grandchildren between the two of them. He loves traveling and spending time outdoors with his family and pets.

David Grayson

Vice President, Revenue Cycle & Billing

David brings more than 35 years of multi-faceted EMS experience, holding roles as an administrator, consultant, educator, paramedic and dispatcher. Apart from EMS, David stands as a seasoned entrepreneur, investing in various business ventures. Notably, he founded and led CareMed EMS in Oxford, Mississippi, for six years before its integration into the AmeriPro family.

David served multiple terms as the president of the Mississippians for Emergency Medical Services, the largest EMS association in the state. He also serves on the Mississippi EMS Advisory Council, Mississippi Trauma Care Advisory Committee, Mississippi Stroke Care Advisory Committee, Central MS EMS District Board of Directors, and is the advisory committee chairman for the Coahoma Community College paramedic program. Additionally, he is currently an adjunct faculty at Columbia Southern University.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Sacred Heart University.

Away from work, he enjoys college sports, travel, sailing and volunteering with several community organizations.

Chanta Courtney

Director of Talent Acquisition

Chanta’s professional history in talent acquisition, full cycle recruitment, and employee development in geographically dispersed organizations has poised her to successfully attract and secure top talent in this ever-changing market.

Over her 30 years in the healthcare industry, Chanta has always remained focused on one KEY goal – in order to maintain and preserve a positive organizational culture, one must begin with its team of professionals. Chanta’s educational background is in genetic and Cytogenetic research, and she received her degree in “Research in Mental Health with an emphasis in Biology” from California State University of Dominguez Hills in Carson, California.

Chanta has been married to her husband Keith for 18 years. Keith is a retired Fire Captain of 30 years and currently serves the community as a contract Paramedic. Chanta and Keith enjoy boating, hunting and fishing. Their son is in the US Army stationed at the Aviano Airforce Base located in Province of Pordenone, Italy.
